Perhaps the weather isn’t cooperating to get out on a ride. Maybe your bike is in the shop and you’re longing to escape—even if it’s only in your mind. Since any reason is a good enough one to relax and watch a movie, we’re going to share a few.

In addition, there are lots of awesome motorcycle movies available. Today we’re highlighting five motorcycle movies you might not have seen, or if you have, perhaps you want to watch them again.
“Let the World Change You and You can Change the World.”
This Oscar winning movie is the dramatization of a motorcycle road trip Che Guevara went on in his youth that showed him his life’s calling.
“Based On One Hell Of A True Story”
Previously, we talked about a series highlighting the origins of the Harley Davidson. While this 127 minute movie features Anthony Hopkins and provides insight into the Indian motorcycle. The story is about a New Zealander who rebuilt a 1920 Indian motorcycle. Most noteworthy—is that this motorcycle helped him set the land speed world record at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967.
- On Any Sunday (1971)
“Take a trip at 265 mph.”
This oldie, but a goodie, On Any Sunday, is considered one of the best motorcycle sport documentaries made.
Hence this film is worth getting the popcorn ready for. This documentary on motorcycle racing featuring stars of the sport, including film star Steve McQueen.
The movie focuses on what makes people want to ride a motorcycle in competition. Thus offering us a glimpse into why people race bikes. Perhaps this movie will provide us with a chance to vicariously enjoy the thrill of the race without leaving our couch.
